Taaveekun Smart Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (1451968-A) is a wholly Bumiputera-owned company registered under the Business Registration Act 1965. This business was established in 2004 by Haji Md Fadzilah Bin Ariffin, and the company is currently led by him in his capacity as Chairman.
Our core business focuses on fertilizer manufacturing and soil health solutions to support sustainable and productive agriculture.
As the parent company, Taaveekun Smart Holdings also oversees a portfolio of subsidiaries involved in manufacturer, food production, health and beauty, premium apparel, warehousing, retail, logistics and forwarding services, as well as manpower supply.
One of our key subsidiaries, Taaveekun Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is a Bumiputera-owned fertliser manufacturing company that is officially registered and recognised by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF).

FGV Fertiliser Sdn. Bhd. is the producer of granulated NPK compound fertiliser. Incorporated in 1975, FGV Fertiliser Sdn. Bhd., formally known as FPM Sdn. Bhd., is the market leader in producing and distributing more than 300,000 metric tons of NPK compound fertiliser per annum. …We also produce the well-known Sun Bear and Sunflower brands for the open market apart from supplying formulated quality NPK Compound to FELDA Group and FGV Group. In 2014, FGV Fertiliser Sdn. Bhd. took a giant leap by constructing a new NPK Compound Fertiliser Plant in Kuantan, Pahang with a design capacity up to 120,000 metric tons thus making a total combined capacity of 450,000 metric tons per year.
National Farmers’ Organization (NAFAS) was launched on March 31, 1972, by the 2nd Prime Minister of Malaysia, the late Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein. At its inception, NAFAS, known as the National Farmers’ Association, was registered under the Farmers’ Association Act 1967 and acted as the apex body for farmers’ associations throughout the country. …As time passed and to enable farmers’ movements to progress, farmers’ associations and basic agricultural cooperative companies throughout Malaysia were amalgamated and became Area Farmers’ Organizations, registered under the Farmers’ Organization Act 1973. Later, with changes at the regional and state levels, the National Farmers’ Association was also re-registered as the ‘National Farmers’ Organization’ in 1984.
